Liverpool's Star Issues Apology to Teammates, Reveals Curtis Jones

The Liverpool midfielder has shared that the Egyptian forward expressed regret to the team in the wake of the uproar from his recent interview.

The striker was dropped from a European match following criticising the club and stating his rapport with Arne Slot had deteriorated.

“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, I apologise.’”

Arne Slot has refused to disclose on whether he was apologised to from the veteran striker.

Moving Forward

He emphasized that the dressing room atmosphere stayed normal. “He was his usual self, his demeanour was positive and it was business as usual,” the midfielder explained.

Jones also noted that a competitor wanting to play is preferable. “It's clear there are different methods you can express yourself,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just be on the bench, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”

Liverpool's form have stayed unbeaten in the games following the situation. The player is convinced the outburst were never meant to destabilise the squad.
